Lethabo Motibane, a 30-year-old Limpopo-based entrepreneur who used to walk 10 kilometres to school during her high school days, is now the founder of one of Africa’s few luxury watch brands.
Throughout her entire life, she has had to face numerous challenges including poverty and mental health issues. Whilst dealing with a daily long walk to school together with life challenges, she learned the art of persistence and understanding the importance of time. That is how Ledjoy Ke Nako was born, and with it, she aims to instil the spirit of resilience and time management of everyone aiming for greatness.
Ledjoy is currently a team of four young rural-based South Africans who strive to enable people to always remember to act now and be led by a joyful purpose.
Ledjoy is a proudly South African manufacturer of luxury watches that tell stories of resilience, and strength by driving all our customers to ACT NOW through our KE NAKO drive. KE NAKO is a Northern Sotho phrase that means ‘It is time’.
“It is time that Africa produces quality watches that are designed to fit her people’s resilient characters and personalities. We strive for excellence and treat our customers as brands which deserve to be perceived as leaders.” Lethabo.
